slow cooker Overnight Oatmeal with Apples, Cranberries, and Walnuts

Ingredients
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 TBSP butter (sliced)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (or more to taste)
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
Steps
  1. 1. Line a 4 quart slow cooker with a disposable liner. Place apples, cranberries, oats, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg inside. Pour in milk and water and mix to combine. Cover.
  2. 2. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Sprinkle cooked oatmeal with chopped walnuts.
