- 4 cups beef broth*
- 1 package French Onion Soup mix *
- 16-oz. pkg. extra wide egg noodles
- salt and pepper to taste (I prefer ½ teaspoon salt and generous pepper in this recipe)
- Beef bouillon + water can be used as a substitute.
- If you don’t have soup mix, you can substitute 1 cup onion (chopped), 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 Tablespoon dried parsley.
