  • 1 ½ tablespoons  fermented black beans
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 ½ tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon dark soy (optional)
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic (minced very finely)
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon oil (to drizzle right before steaming)

  • 1 stalk green onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 to 2 birdseye chili (optional, finely sliced)
  • toasted sesame seeds (optional)
