Smoothie: Apple Pie Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 c. unsweetened almond milk 1 tsp. ground cinnamon (optional)
  • ½ tsp. ground nutmeg (optional)
  • Pinch of ground cloves (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast (optional)
Steps
  1. Put all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add water as needed if you prefer a thinner smoothie.
Notes
  • Substitute the apple for ½ cup of pumpkin puree and the almond milk for 1 c. coconut milk + 1 c. water to make pumpkin pie smoothie
