One-Bowl Banana Bread

Bibliophile Thalassophile I love all animals especially cats and horses. I LOVE to cook, bake and to eat! My paternal grandparents were born in Sicily,so love of Italian food is in my DNA. I'm a fan of Chef Lidia Bastianich. Her recipes are simple foods rooted in her childhood,when families meals used the fresh vegetables and meat grown in small kitchen gardens or backyard chicken coops. Julia Child,is a goddess of the kitchen and I vow to someday cook her iconic Boeuf Bourguignon.

Cooking spray

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup mashed bananas (from 3 [7-oz. each] bananas)

½ cup canola oil

¼ c up vanilla whole-milk strained (Greek-style) yogurt

¼ cup whole buttermilk

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 large egg

1 ½ cups (about 6 3/8 oz.) all-purpose flour

1 ¼ tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. table salt

½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
