anzac biscuits
Ingredients
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • • 1 cup rolled oats
  • • ¾ cup  sugar
  • • ¾cup dessicated coconut
  • • 100 g butter•
  • ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
Steps
  1. Anzac cookies
  2. • Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the rolled oats and coconut and baking soda.
  3. • Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the sugar
  4. • Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  5. • If too dry add 2 to 3 tbsp of milk
  6. • Place walnut-sized balls of mixture on a greased tray and bake at 160C for 15 to 20 min till golden in colour.
  7. • Let them cool for half an hour and they will be crisp.
