Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- • 1 cup rolled oats
- • ¾ cup sugar
- • ¾cup dessicated coconut
- • 100 g butter•
- ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
Steps
- Anzac cookies
- • Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the rolled oats and coconut and baking soda.
- • Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the sugar
- • Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- • If too dry add 2 to 3 tbsp of milk
- • Place walnut-sized balls of mixture on a greased tray and bake at 160C for 15 to 20 min till golden in colour.
- • Let them cool for half an hour and they will be crisp.
