Sausage & Kidney Beans

Ingredients
  • 1 Kielbsa or Italian sausage, cut into ½" coins
  • ½ small onion, diced
  • 2 cans of kidney beans, drained
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tsp vinegar (we used red wine vinegar)
  • 2 tsp coconut or olive oil
Steps
  1. Heat oil in a skillet. Add the sausage and onion; brown carefully, stirring as needed.
  2. Add beans and vinegar. Sprinkle nutritional yeast evenly over everything and stir. Cook another 2 to 3 minutes or until warmed through.
