Egg & Sausage Breakfast Casserole (Mary)

Ingredients
- 1 lb pork sausage, brown & drain well
- 2 ¼ cup milk
- 12 large eggs; use 15 if large group
- 1 ½ tsp dry mustard
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 1 small can crescent rolls
Steps
- In 9 x 13 greased pan unroll the croissant without separating and lay in bottom of pan.
- Sprinkle crumbled sausage over the rolls.
- In a large bowl mix eggs, milk, mustard and salt; then mix in cheese and slowly pour over rolls. Don't worry if rolls lift.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes until knife comes out clean.
Notes
- Recipe can be halved. You can also add bacon or ham in place of sausage
- I cook uncovered. Mary
