Ingredients

  • 7 oz granulated sugar 1 cup
  • 4 Tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons all purpose flour
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon kosher salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 to 5 shakes of chocolate bitters optional
  •  
  • 2 ½ sticks butter (10 oz) at cool room temperature cut into 1 Tablespoon pieces
