Stuffed pork burger

Ingredients
  • 5 TB pesto
  • ½ tsp slat
  • 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ lbs lean ground pork
  • 2 oz low fat mozzerella, cut into 4 cubes
Steps
  1. stir together pesto, salt, and pepper. add pork and using your hand gently combine. do not overmix.
  2. shape pork mixture into 4 equal balls. Press 1 mozzarella cube into the center of each ball. Gently form a ¾ in patty enclosing the cheese.
  3. Spray a non stick skillet with cooking spray. Heat over med-high heat. Add burgers, reduce heat to medium and cook 5 minutes per side. Serve hot.
