Salsa rojá from dried peppers

  • 5 dried guajillo chiles stems and seeds removed
  • 3 dried arbol chiles stems and seeds removed
  • 2 dried ancho chilies stems and seeds removed
  • 2 roma tomatoes diced,
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ teaspoon black peppercorns
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups beef broth
