Texas Style Borracho Beans Recipe from H-E-B

I used michelob uktra, 1 t oregano, soaked 2 days, Instapot crocked medium, 30 hours; 2 minutes Instapot pressurized with natural release. Doubles recipe (2lb bag of beans). Served more than 30 people.

Recipe makes 8 Servings

1 Lb dried pinto beans

6 slices thick cut bacon, diced or cut into lardons

1 medium yellow onion, diced

3 fresh garlic cloves, minced

1 Tbsp ground cumin

1 Tbsp smoked paprika

2 Tbsp Texas Backyard Organic Mexican Oregano

3 cup(s) chicken stock

12 fl oz Mexican beer

3 bay leaves
