  • 2 teaspoon snipped fresh marjoram or ½ teaspoon dried marjoram, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounce dried spaghetti or linguine
