  • ¼ cup (56 mL) Simply Nature Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) water, plus more as needed
  • ½ cup (6g) fresh cilantro or parsley leaves
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt + more to taste
  • ½ of a large lemon, juiced + more to taste

  • 1 medium red onion, sliced as thinly as you can
  • ¾ cup (180 mL) water
  • ½ cup (120 mL) apple cider vinegar or distilled white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or organic cane sugar
  • ½ tablespoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
