1 1.3-ounce disk Mexican chocolate 1 1.3-ounce disk Mexican chocolate
1 cup whole or water 1 cup whole or water
Pinch of salt Pinch of salt
Splash of kahlua (optional) Splash of kahlua (optional)

Finely chop or grate the chocolate. Set aside.
In a saucepan, over medium heat, warm milk until it begins to bubble around the edges of the pan. DO NOT LET IT BOIL. Remove from heat and stir in a pinch of salt.
Add the chocolate and stir to dissolve. Return saucepan to a low heat and whisk vigorously to froth for another 10 mins.
