Instant Pot Spaghetti by Rich Lum
Not your dump and cook recipe but made in a 6 qt Instant Pot
Ingredients
  • Jarred spaghetti sauce
  •  
  • Chopped onions
  •  
  • Sliced mushrooms
  •  
  • Chopped garlic
  •  
  • Ground turkey
  •  
  • Oil for sautéing
Steps
  1. Chop and slice your garlic, onion and mushrooms
  2. Season your ground turkey with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce...mix together
  3. Fill your pot with 3" of water
  4. Close and seal the pot, set the pot to manual 1 minute. QR open the lid and salt the water
  5. Stand you spaghetti in the pot ( they will soften and bend into the water)
  6. Close and seal your pot
  7. Set the pot to manual 6 minutes with a QR ( use a paper towel over the vent. Wet 2" of the towel so it will stick to the handle
  8. Drain the spaghetti in a colander and set aside
  9. Set you pot to sauté, when hot Add your oil
  10. Add the onions and sauté for a couple minutes with a pinch of salt
  11. Add your mushrooms and ground turkey and cook through
  12. Add your jarred sauce and return the noodles to the pot
  13. Sauté for a minute or two
  14. Cancel..set your pot to keep warm
Notes
  • I make it this way so I have more control over the doneness of the pasta
