Beef Pot Pie. Julie's

Ingredients
  • 1 and ½ pound top sirloin cut into cubes
  • few tablespoons oil for frying
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 pkts low sodium gravy
  • 3 and ½ cups water
  • around 3 cups southern cubed hash browns(frozen)
  • 1-12 ounce  pkg frozen mixed veg. (mine had carrots, peas, green beans,  corn)
  • 1 pie crust
Steps
  1. brown steak in oil and take out of pan then cook the onions until translucent.   take them out and drain fat.   add in water and gravy mix and whisk until lumps dissolve.  add in meat and all veg and potato and stir until bubbly and let simmer awhile probably 10 minutes.  put crust on top and cut  slits in crust. bake at 400 for about 20 to 25 minutes
