  • 1 brown onion , diced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes (can substitute 2 medium, peeled/diced tomatoes)
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 cup water
  • subheading: To Add To Jars:
  • ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 to 4 cups boiling water (or beef broth)
