Orecchiette with Sausage and Broccoli
Ingredients
  • 3 Cup Broccoli (fresh florets)
  • 1 lbs Italian Sausage (see note 1)
  • ½ lbs Pasta (orecchiette or cavatelli)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup White Onion (medium onion, small diced)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (2 to 3 cloves, minced)
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 24 Oz Marinara Sauce (see note 2)
  • 1 tsp Chili Flakes
  • ½ Cup Red Wine
  • 1 tsp Anchovy Paste (or 2 minced fillets)
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • Parmesan Cheese (for serving, optional)
