Kung Pao Chicken
Ingredients

  • 2 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 red bell pepper, cored and diced
  • 2 green bell pepper, cored and diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 8 dried red Chinese or arbol chili peppers, seeds removed and finely chopped*
  • 2 batch Kung Pao Marinade (see below)
  • garnishes for serving: thinly-sliced green onions, toasted sesame seeds

  • ½ cup water
  • 6 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
