Swiss Steak
Ingredients
  • 1 large round steak
  • 2 onions
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 dash Worcester sauce
  • Salt and pepper
Steps
  1. 1: chop onion and pepper and sauté in greased pan. Set aside
  2. 2: cut steak into 4 pieces
  3. 3: pound flour into both sides of steak. Pound really well to tenderize. Brown meat on both sides
  4. 3: put onion and pepper mixture on top of the browned meat. Cover well.
  5. 4: add water to tomato sauce. Simmer on low for a couple of hours
  6. 5: if using an electric skillet cook on 250 to 300.
  7. Serve with mashed potatoes and veggie
