Pineapple soyaki marinade
loading...
Hawaiian-style teriyaki sauce influenced by adobo (the vinegar).
Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¼ cup pineapple juice (I would just use these tiny kid-sized cans)
- 2 to 3 TB white vinegar
- 1 heaping TB Sesame seeds, toasted brown in a dry frying pan
- 4 cloves minced/pressed garlic
- 1 TB minced ginger
- ½ cup onion, minced or 1 heaping tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp sesame oil, asian (should be golden brown)
- Optional: I sometimes add red pepper flakes and/or black pepper to give it a little oompf.
Steps
- Mix
- Let sit for at least an hour before using.
- It doesn't last forever in the fridge but freezes okay.
