1 pound ground Italian sausage (I used mild) needs more meat

Maybe add some meatballs

1 yellow onion, diced

1 tsp salt

1 tsp Italian Seasoning

1 Tsp garlic powder

1 Tbls sugar

2 tbls tomato paste

Hand full spinach chopped very small

1 cup beef broth or water

1 (19 oz) package frozen cheese tortellini

1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes

½ cup half and half

Optional: ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
