Ingredients
  • Half of a 1- to 1.5-pound flank steak
  • salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or 1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, or bottle lemon juice
  • ¾ cup dry red wine
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, or ½ teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • subheading: Instructions:
  • Insert plastic slow cooker liner bag into slow cooker.
  • Add flank steak to the bottom of the liner. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir together red pepper flakes, garlic, lemon juice, and red wine. Pour over steak.
  • Top with rosemary.
  • Cook on low for 7 hours.
