Utterly creamy and luscious this Maharashtrian Basundi recipe is easy to make and perfect to serve on festivals and special occasions.
Ingredients
  • 4 cups or 1 litre - Full Fat Whole Milk
  • 20 strands - Saffron (Kesar)
  • ½ cup - Sugar (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp - Green Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • 1 TBSP - Almonds (Badam) - slivered
  • 1 TBSP - Pistachios (Pista) - slivered
  • 1 TBSP - Cashew Nuts (Kaju) - slivered
