Ingredients
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp melted butter
Steps
  1. Stir together warm milk, water, sugar, salt and yeast.
  2. Add flour and mix into a tacky dough.
  3. Cover and let sit for 1 hour.
  4. Grease pan with butter
  5. Turn dough out onto floured surface.
  6. Pull edges into center, incorporating a little flour.
  7. Split equally and form into round balls (approx 9)
  8. Add balls to pan, cover and let sit for 15 min.
  9. in small container, break 1 egg and 1 tbl of butter and whisk well. Brush on top of dough balls.
  10. Bake 400 for 30 min.
