Ingredients
  • 3 cups Basmati rice, washed and drained
  • 5 to 6 cups water, adjust accordingly
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 40g butter
  • 1 and ¼tsp salt or to taste
  • A pinch of turmeric powder, for colouring purposes only (optional)
  • 3tbsp grated carrot (I will add more next time)
