Whole Wheat Dinner/Hoagie rolls
Ingredients
  • 1 cups warm water
  • 3 TBS cup sugar
  • 1 Tbs Yeast
  • 1 Tbs butter
  • 1 Egg
  •  
  • 3 Cups flour (1 cups all purpose and 2 cups whole wheat works great)
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  •  
Steps
  1. Mix 1st 4 ingredients, allow to proof- Add Egg
  2. Add Flour, 2 cups at a time until a soft dough forms. Allow to rest for 30 minutes. add Salt. Knead on setting 2 for 18 to 20 minutes.
  3. Allow to rise for 1 hour, punch down, shape, allow to rise for 45 minutes- bake at 375 until golden brown
