Keto biscuits and gravy

  1. Keto biscuits and gravy! I have not tried this myself yet but have heard great things about it
  2. subheading: Biscuits:
  3. 1 ½ Cups Almond Flour
  4. ¼ Teaspoons Salt
  5. 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  6. ½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  7. ½ Teaspoon Onion Powder
  8. 2 Eggs
  9. ½ Cup Sour Cream
  10. 4 Tablespoons Butter (melted)
  11. ½ Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  12. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  13. Mix all the dry ingredient together first.
  14. Combine all the wet ingredients next.
  15. Mix well.
  16. Spray your pan with non stick cooking spray.  I used a muffin tin but you can use any pan you choose.  Take a drop and drop a dollop of biscuit batter on your pan.  I also spray my spoon with non stick cooking spray because the dough will slide right off into the pan.
  17. Cook for about 10 to 13 minutes.
  18. Serve warm and enjoy!
  19. subheading: Sausage Gravy:
  20. • 1 pound Ground sausage
  21. • 1 cup Chicken broth
  22. • 1 cup Heavy cream
  23. • ½ teaspoon Xanthan gum
  24. • Salt and pepper to taste
  25. 1. In a large skillet, brown and crumble the sausage over medium-high heat until it is cooked through.  Add the chicken broth, cream, and xanthan gum.  Stir to combine.  Bring to a simmer, reduce the heat to low, and continue to simmer until the gravy is thick.  Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
  26. To serve, cut the biscuits in half and spoon gravy onto biscuits.  Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
