Crispy Pork Carnitas
Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs (24 oz) lean pork tenderloin, cut into 4 pieces (with excess fat trimmed off)
  • 1 medium (160g) onion, cut into thin slices
  • 1.5 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 batch classic carnitas sauce (see below)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 limes, juice of
  • 1 orange, juice of
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground mustad
  • 1 tsp cumin
