  • 2 ounces dry Vermouth or you can substitute with Sake or Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt plus more to taste
  • ⅛ teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
  • 2 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 dried bay leaf
