Ingredients
- 1 lb stew beef
- 2 TB vegetable oil
- 2 lbs potatoes diced 1.5 inches
- 1 onion chopped
- ½ lb carrots chopped
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1 packet Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix
- 2 cups water or beef broth
- 1 tsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 TB Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp cayenne hot sauce
- 1 TB corn starch
- ¼ cup water
Steps
- Set IP to normal sauté and add oil
- Brown beef when oil is hot.
- Deglaze with water or broth, add rest of ingredients except corn starch and remaining water, and stir.
- Seal IP and set for stew or high pressure for 35 minutes.
- Natural pressure release for 10 minutes and then quick release.
- Combine corn starch with the ¼ cup water and stir into stew slowly to thicken.
- Adjust additional seasoning to taste.
- Enjoy!
