  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast, instant or rapid rise yeast
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 cup pumpkin butter store-bought or homemade
  • subheading: For the icing:
  • 1 ounce cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (115g)
  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (see DIY recipe below in Notes)
  • 2 tablespoons milk or heavy whipping cream plus more if needed
