Ingredients
  • ¾ cup (213g) brown sugar (dark or light), packed
  • ¾ cup (170g) butter or ¾ cup (138g) shortening
  • ½ cup (170g) molasses
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 ½ cups (298g) Gluten-Free All-Purpose Baking Mix*
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves or allspice
  • ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar, for coating
  • note: Make sure you use our Gluten-Free All-Purpose Baking Mix, not our Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour.
