Vegetable Beef Soup Instant Pot (my fav)

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. beef for stew, cut small pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 -10oz.cans tomatoes with basil,oregano, garlic.  ( DelMonte is good)
  • 1 -10 oz. can tomatoes with green  chilies or zesty chilies
  • 14 oz beef broth ( or 2 cups).   I use Better than Bouillion brand .( its a concentrated  base, there is chicken and a beef )
  • 2- 16 oz frozen veggies.   The peas , carrots, corn mix is great!
Steps
  1. Turn on Instant Pot. Press Sauté. Add a little olive oil and then sauté and brown beef .
  2. Turn off pot.
  3. Dump everything else into pot. Close lid. Push vent thingie to the back.
  4. Turn the pot  on and press Manual and use  plus sign to get to 15 - don't  touch anything else. It will switch to saying ON and then start.
  5. Let pressure come down by itself or if you are in a hurry vent after about 10 to 15 min.
