  1. 1. Sauteed minced onion (hubby doesn't like the texture of onion) and garlic. Then added rice and coated the rice in the oil.
  2. 2. Then I added vegetable broth (1cup per cup of rice) and then added tomato sauce ¼ per cup of rice.
  3. 3. Then I added cumin, oregano, paprika and salt  (¼ tsp per cup of rice),
  4. 4. Turn off the sautee and place the lid on with it sealed.
  5. 5. Press manual for 9 minutes.
  6. 6. When it beeps done, let it sit for 5 minutes and then release the steam.
  7. 7.  Fluff and enjoy.
Notes
  • I just made the best Mexican rice that I have ever made with my instant pot.
