  • 1 lb chicken livers, chopped fine

  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped fine
  • 2 cups parboiled long grain rice
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced thin
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt, black & cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) low sodium beef broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) low sodium chicken broth
  • 3 to 4 oz water or as needed
  • 2 tsp creole seasoning, or to taste
  • ½ tsp sage *see cook’s notes
  • 2 to 3 bay leaves
  • ½ cup fresh chopped parsley
