Chicken livers with onion and mushrooms
Ingredients
  • chicken livers chopped in bite sized pieces
  • onion
  • mushrooms
  • optional bacon/pork belly etc.
  • optional drop of fish sauce
  • garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • a little tomato paste
  • curry powder
  • dried thyme
  • spring onions or other green stuff
Steps
  1. Fry mushrooms with a drop of fish sauce or salt.
  2. Start frying onions (and pork belly if it's thick pieces, otherwise add later or fry separately) in different pan.
  3. Add salted and peppered chicken livers and fry for a couple of minutes.
  4. Add garlic, tomato paste and spices and fry a bit more.
  5. Add some spring onions or other green stuff after plating, it's not necessary but it really improve the looks of this dish!
  6. Ready to eat!
