Ingredients
- 1. can ( 27 oz. ) whole green chilles
- 1 ½lb. MONterey Jack Cheese,cut into1-inch strips
- 6 large eggs, separated
- 6 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- vegetable oil
- Ortega mild Salsa warmed
Steps
- stuff each (being careful not to break the skins with the cheese
- take egg whites and beat them until stiff peak form.
- whisk egg yolks in small bowl. fold yolks ,egg whites and flour
- until just combined.
- add oil in 1-inch depth in Medium skillet; heat on high for3 to 4 Minutes.
- dip chilies in batter until well.place in oil; fry turning frequently
- with thongs, until golden brown.
- place on paper towels and drain well.
- serve with salsa.8 to 10 servings.
