Turkey Stock Recipe Plus Canning Instructions
Ingredients
  • 1 turkey carcass (or substitute 2 to 3 turkey legs)
  • 2 medium carrots roughly chopped
  • 2 celery ribs roughly chopped
  • 1 medium onion roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme (or 3 to 4 sprigs fresh thyme)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 2 to 3 sprigs of fresh parsley)
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary (or 1 to 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary)
  • 10 whole black peppercorns
  • 4 quarts water or enough to cover
