Chicken, Potatoes and Peas Tagine (Instant Pot)

Ingredients
  • ½ chicken, in pieces
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 cup of water (with chicken stock)
  • 1 + ½ tsp ginger
  • 1 + ½ tsp curcuma
  • 1 + ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ + ½ tsp coriander
  • ½ + ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ + ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp + 1 tsp parsley
  • Saffron
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup of peas
Steps
  1. Marinate the chicken in the spices mix.
  2. Peel tomato and potatoes and cut them into quarters.
  3. Mix water and additional spices.
  4. Sauté onions in olive oil. Add tomato and tomato paste. Deglaze.
  5. Add chicken, spice mix and potatoes.
  6. Cook at high pressure for 10 minutes. Natural release.
  7. Add peas and simmer for a bit.
