Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup shortening
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • cinnamon
  • butter
  • apples
Steps
  1. Put dry ingredients into bowl
  2. Mix in brown sugar & oatmeal.
  3. Cut in shortening until small crumbs.
  4. Put half in pan.
  5. Slice apples on top
  6. Sprinkle on white sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Dot with butter
  8. Put rest of crumbs on top
  9. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes
