Ingredients
  • 2 15 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 1 to 2 tsp ginger
  • 2 hot or mild green chile, used jalapeno
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • 1 to 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp paprika or kashmiri chili powder
  • 2 tsp kasoori methi - dried fenugreek leaves or add a ½ tsp ground mustard
  • ¼ tsp cayenne (more for more spice)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp or more sugar or sweetener
  • 1 large onion or 2 small onions
  • 2 heaping cups soy curls (dry, not rehydrated)
  • 2 15oz can cooked chickpeas
  • ½ cup coconut cream (add more as desired)
  • ¼ cup cilantro for garnish (optional)
