  • 2 medium jalapeños, seeded and roughly chopped
  • 1 large garlic clove, smashed
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, roughly chopped
  • 3 scallions, trimmed
  • ¾ teaspoons granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
