Spicy Mushroom Black Pepper Fry
Ingredients
  • Oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 T minced ginger
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 3 cups chopped mushrooms
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 T pepper powder
  • 1 t tumeric powder
  • Salt as required
  • Cilantro for garnish
  •  
  • Serve with rice or Indian bread
Steps
  1. Heat oil in pan, add sliced onions, ginger, and garlic. Saute until onions are translucent.
  2. Add mushrooms and salt. Keep sauteing until the water from the mushrooms evaporates completely. Then add bell peppers and salt.
  3. Continue to saute until the bell peppers are nearly done. Add green chilies and black pepper... then add remaining spices and cook for another minute.
  4. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with rice or Indian bread.
