Canning cabbage WB
Ingredients
  • Cabbage
  • Lemon juice
  • Garlic
  • Pepper
Steps
  1. I shred the Cabbage into about 2" strips,
  2. Blanch pieces in HOT water for 5 min. SAVE that water.
  3. Really stuff the Jars full, 2 inch Headspace.
  4. ADD saved boiling - water or broth. Cabbage 1 head = about 3 quarts canned
  5. Each Jar, ADD 1 tsp EACH = Lemon juice, Garlic, and Pepper. Optional bouillon cube
  6. Debubble, Check headspace. Water Bath for 20 min.
