3 c all-purpose flour

2 c sugar, white

⅓ c baking cocoa

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 c water

¾ c I use vegetable oil or coconut oil (updated from original)

2 tsp vanilla extract, I use pure and a tad less on measure

2 tsp vinegar

subheading: MY CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 pkg cream cheese, softened (8 oz)

¼ c butter, you can use margarine in a pinch but use butter!

2 c confectioners' sugar

⅓ c bakers cocoa (I love Hershey's but use what you like)

dash salt

3 Tbsp milk

½ tsp vanilla extract
