Ham Bone Red Beans and Rice in the Instant Pot/Electronic Pressure Cooker
Ingredients

  • ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped celery
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large meaty ham bone
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper, or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste, optional
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 large bay leaf
  • 1 quart water
  • ½ pound andouille or other spicy sausage
  • Cajun seasoning and kosher salt, to taste
  • Sliced green onion, for garnish, optional
  • Hot sauce, for the table, optional
