Saag Aloo (Potato Spinach Curry)
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Peanut Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin Seeds or Jeera
  • 1 Onion medium, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 Tomatoes small, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri Red chili powder substitute with paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • 3 Potatoes medium - boiled, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cups Spinach Puree
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Cashew Cream optional, read notes
  • Instructions
  • Heat a pan, add oil, cumin seeds. Add finely chopped onions and sauté. Cook until the onions are translucent.
  • Next add ginger garlic paste, sauté for 1 to 2 mins until the raw smell goes off.
