VEGAN HONEY
Honey can be used in so many ways in so many dishes. So I thought I'd make a vegan version, that is versatile and so similar to the real thing. Oh and so bloody simple!
Ingredients
  • 1 liter apple juice
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 & ½ cups of sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 chamomile tea bags
  • Handful dandelions & lavender 1
Steps
  1. Add all the ingredients into a pan and bring to a boil, once boiling reduce to a simmer and let simmer for 50 mins until the liquid has reduced by half. Scoop out the tea bags and flowers and pour into jars. It will seem quite watery still, but once it's cooled and been in the fridge for a few days it will thicken. Try not to over cook it as it will become too thick.
